Time for another season of fantasy football and a time to link the top three picks of the 2013 draft with the place they call home. The first pick in almost every draft out there this year was Adrian Peterson, who can argue the man rushed for over 2,000 yards in 2012 coming off major knee surgery. He will continue to put up big numbers and possibly match his yard totals with the square footage of his home. 4,540.
At the number two spot it varies from league to league. Some leagues saw Doug Martin or CJ Spiller go this early but since they are both younger guys in the league they have not quite bought their dream house. So for the number two spot we are going with the local “Beast” Marshawn Lynch, a player who has ran for the most yards combined the past two seasons and his house does not disappoint.
Coming in at number three this year I’m going with a quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. The man has done nothing but perform for fantasy owners since he came in to replace Brett Farve in 2008. His quarters aren’t to shabby as well.

Visiting San Diego anytime soon? I highly recommend making a stop in La Jolla, which is about 25 minutes north of the San Diego airport. Torrey Pines sits on a bluff above the Pacific Ocean with drastic views to the end of the Earth. There is a north and south course and I played the north course. The wind is a factor coming off the coast and affects all aspects of your game, but it is well worth it. It is a course that plays pretty straight forward but having a local that can help read greens and know the course never hurts. I highly recommend making the trip and walking the same course many professionals have walked.

Driving across the state from western Washington takes about five and a half hours to get to WSU’s campus. With views straight out of the Field Of Dreams, the rolling hills, and high grasses make for a picturesque setting. The golf course itself was in great shape and I could not have asked for better weather for the third week of September. Make sure you bring a straight drive because the high grasses, right off the fairways, will empty your a bag of golf balls. The greens don’t have much contour but they play extremely fast, especially if you’re used to western Washington golf courses. I would rate this course a B+ based off the condition and setting. Take a look at the inventory coming down. There are two steps to a recovery. First buyers must clear distressed and stale inventory (we are in the middle of that). Second demand surpasses supply and a drive up in prices begin.
